Beautiful Dreamer Revisited

Thinking again this morning about the beautiful dreamer that God sees when He looks at you and at me.
I can't speak for you, but often I am more awake to the difficult, fearful things of the world than I am to the King and His beautiful kingdom plans and desires. It would be easy to allow the recent attacks in Paris to divert my gaze, to co-op my dreams, making me hyper-vigilant about ISIS...or the Republican nomination...or whatever.
Psalm 2 begins, "Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?... He who sits in the heavens laughs." There is nothing to fear when that is the King's response. So like the psalmist, this beautiful dreamer wants to awake unto Him and "As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill."
Beautiful dreamers, Awake unto Him!
